Yes, sales are down, but they’re down from the massive surge caused by the pandemic in 2021. The profits are just correcting themselves after a massive influx.
The truth is that Pottermore’s sales went up after she started spewing her hateful rhetoric (which was in June 2020, if I remember correctly). They went up, not down!
This is not the win you think it is. And if anything it proves, once again, that J.K. Rowling never was “canceled.”
